The irritating thing about living in the UK – Or at least one on the long, long list – is the fact that we don’t get all of the award season movies until January, which means having to listen to Americans rave and flail over these star studded, groundbreaking films while we get all confused about how to do our best of the year lists. One of the films that’s still out of our reach is Oscar favourite Manchester by the Sea, which has two new clips.
In the first clip, Lee (Casey Affleck) is having a loud and rowdy time playing ping pong with his friends before his wife (Michelle Williams) comes down and puts the boys in their place. In the second clip, Lee comes home from a fishing trip, gets questioned about his drinking and tries to have sex with his wife, before deciding to take a shower first.
These are very short and unsubstantial clips, but the film itself looks absolutely incredible, and we can’t wait to finally get our hands on it.
