We’re getting closer and closer to the release of Disney’s fifth installment to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, so naturally, we’re getting bombarded with trailers. It feels like we’ve had hundreds by now, to the point that this latest trailer is fairly unexciting, but there’s one thing in particular that sets it apart…
So this trailer, which is written in Japanese, is an amalgamation of things we’ve already seen, the key difference is that we get a brief – and I mean brief – look at Keira Knightley reprising her role as Elizabeth Swann. We’ve known for some time that Orlando Bloom would be jumping back in as Will Turner, but Knightley’s involvement was a more recent discovery. She appears windswept for a whole second, and that is what’s making the headlines of a lot of online articles, so don’t get your hopes up too high.
The film looks excellent, certainly a lot better than the average at best On Stranger Tides, and the fact that it’s only just over a month away is very exciting.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is out May 26th
