To begin with, I wasn’t overly excited by this trailer. It just looked like a typical day at the shops with your feral child… but then I realised… It’s the next movie in the X-Men franchise…Logan!

Some people may say we’ve had too many by now, but personally I cannot get enough! It’s exciting as well to have director James Mangold back in the chair who, by the looks of things, has once more created the wonderful gritty feel that his last X-men film, ‘Wolverine’, had to it back in 2013.

The film is set in the not too distant future and follows Logan (Wolverine) and a worryingly worse for wear looking Professor X (once again portrayed by our national treasure Patrick Stewart) who are in hiding. However, their attempts to remain below the radar are derailed when a young female mutant, being chased by scary military guys with big guns, wanders across their path. Logan is forced to make a decision;  fight to protect the girl and reveal himself to the world, or walk away and leave her to her fate.

But… come on. He’s Wolverine! Of course he’s going to save her.
