Riz Ahmed is having a fantastic time with his acting career at the moment, with Rogue One delighting fans across the globe, his next feature (City of Tiny Lights) is looking set to be equally amazing, albeit in an entirely different way.
Set in London, City sees Ahmed playing a down on his luck private detective who is asked to find a missing prostitute. As he slowly follows the trail, he finds other people who are out to stop him from solving his case.
There are plenty of tense moments in the trailer, which helps to show off the acting skills of Ahmed and Billie Piper as they converse with each other.
Overall, the trailer is a little confusing, but thrilling as well. If you don’t feel some sort of stirrings of excitement in your gut, you may want to check with your doctor to see if you’re dead inside.
City of Tiny Lights is in cinemas April 7th!
