A few years ago Zac Efron seemed to be on the cusp of something phenomenal. Starring in independent movies such as Parkland and The Paperboy, his acting talent was gripping, engaging, and completely different from the High School musical franchise that you could tell he was about to surprise us all….
And then this past year, all his movies are comedies. Gross out comedies. Really gross comedies. From Bad Neighbours to that god-awful Dirty Grandpa movie, Efron has demolished everything he built up.
The destruction continues with Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.
Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys, instead. find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.
This latest featurette sees Devine and Efron read from a popular children’s book about brothers and it all becomes lurid. Just watch.
