Beauty and the Beast draws ever nearer to its release, and with the Golden Globes creating plenty of opportunities for the spring’s big releases to strut their stuff, it was almost inevitable that we would be gifted with a piece of unseen footage or a new trailer to whet the appetite between now and March.
The trailer itself is 30 seconds of quick cuts, showing all of the characters. But the true reason to watch it is to listen to Emma Watson’s vocals as she sings the song ‘Belle.’ Her soprano voice is somewhat reminiscent of the original version featured in the animated film, and could bring a tear to your eye.
There’s not long now before we shall all be guests with Belle at Beast’s Castle. Here’s hoping the other songs in the film will be equally as magical.
