You kind of enjoyed Transformers. You got angry at Transformers 2. You got annoyed at Transformers 3. You fell asleep during Transformers 4. Now, prepare to do it all again as cinema’s least favourite film franchise is back with it’s fifth installment, The Last Knight.

I honestly can’t tell you what the plot of the film is, but the poorly worded synopsis on IMDb suggests that Optimus Prime has found Cyberton, but the planet is dead, and to restore life to it, he must find an ancient artifact which is on Earth…Because where the fuck else would it be?

Look, this trailer isn’t terrible, but we know better than this now; it’s got some gorgeous visuals, but the chances are, it’ll be a lifeless, boring, poorly done action disaster that everyone will say “Oh we hate Transformers films!!! They’re ruining cinema!!!!” but it’ll still somehow be one of the highest grossing films of the year.

Transformers: The Last Knight is out 23rd June
