The Mummy has been rebooted quite a bit. From Boris Karloff’s seminal performance to Brandon Fraiser’s wailing one, The Mummy is a famed story integral to our cinematic lives. Both of the more popular versions have scooped up a wide collection of fans. Personally, I grew up in the nineties and Fraiser’s energetic performance gives me so much joy and glee.

Universal Pictures have decided to reboot their monster collection which has The Invisible Man, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, and more starting with The Mummy. And sometimes, just sometimes, it’s best to leave a story buried in the tomb.

The film revolves around a group of archaeologists who discover the remains of a human and unwillingly unleash a curse upon themselves and the world.

Starring Tom Cruise and Sofia Botella, this teaser is interesting but doesn’t do much to excite. What do you think?
