Everyone remembers xXx, you know, that movie you saw on Dave once and usually 10th on your top ten Vin Diesel films list (Because after The Iron Giant, Guardians of the Galaxy, and all seven Fast and Furious films, it’s literally the only one you can remember). Not many people remember xXx 2, starring Ice Cube, and that’s really the only thing it has going for it. Well now we have the third film, titled Return of Xander Cage, because apparently the poster just wasn’t clear enough.

Xander Cage is left for dead after an incident, though he secretly returns to action for a new, tough assignment with his handler Augustus Gibbons. That plot description is terrible, but it’s about as close as we’re gonna get so lest’s just move on.

There’s no reason this film can’t be a mildly entertaining popcorn flick, but it’s also a sequel that no one was really asking for, and you’re better off waiting for the DVD. Or Dave. You’re probably gonna wait for Dave.
