You’ve probably heard a million and one things about Brad Pitt in the last few weeks thing. Here’s something positive: His new film looks great. Allied is set in 1942 during the second World War, where n intelligence officer in North Africa (Pitt) encounters a female French Resistance fighter (Marion Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. When they reunite in London, their relationship is tested by the pressures of war.

Whilst this trailer is a little too revealing, the film itself looks absolutely fantastic; it’s not uncommon for Robert Zemeckis to deliver us an excellent film, with the visual style and action of the trailers already looking pretty exciting. And there’s no need to tell you just how good Pitt and Cotillard are, their careers speak for themselves.

Allied looks like a tense, exciting, and conflicting WWII thriller.
