One of the most popular dreams a young child has is to become a ballerina. The regal poise, the elegant dance moves, the graceful beauty – they all capture the wild thud of of imagination.
For many, that dream dwindled with the knowledge that, actually, ballet is fucking brutal and only a few succeed. Skimming over the bleeding hard work is new animation Ballerina.
Set against the backdrop of 1879 Paris, a caretaker who dreams of being a dancer and soon finds herself training to be exactly that.
The French studio is fairly new, but surprisingly, have crafted an enriching looking tale! With Elle Fanning as the lead voice, this could be great!
