It’s Award Season! Hooray!
BAFTAs, Golden Globes, and the Academy Awards will all be rounding up the greatest and best movies of the last year. Though, yes, every year adds another layer of contention, but we cannot help but get excited about artists, filmmakers, and more grabbing a whole

So this year’s BAFTA Rising Star Award nominations have been announced. This is the  only award of the BAFTAs that is voted for by the public so there is already a clear, more recognisable winner.

This year, the nominees include Anya Taylor-Joy who appeared greatly in The Witch and stars alongside first winner of the award, James McAvoy, in upcoming horror Split. Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland is also nominated as well as Manchester by the Sea’s Lucas Hedges.
