For a while, I was holding on to a sliver of hope that 3D films were starting to make their way out of the cinema, leaving us with flat screens and fewer gimmicks to attract their ideal audience.
Unfortunately, with the release of Therminator 2: Judgement Day in 3D in cinemas from September 1st and opening in exclusive theatres on August 29th, we’re seeing another resurgence in taking existing properties and updating them for re-release in the cinemas.
The story will be the same, as well as the actors, but the addition of a pointless extra dimension is going to likely hurt more than help the film.
Aside from the masses of droves that will inevitably flock to see their favourite film before almost certainly leave feeling with a strong sense of disappointment at how pointless the 3D truly was..
Terminator 2: Judgement Day 3D is out on DVD & Blu-Ray now!
