There was a time in my life where I didn’t like Jude Law. Whether that’s because of his personal endeavours or because of his acting choices, I just didn’t want his smug face in anything I watched. Then gradually, over time, I bent in favour of him. Mainly because he was back to doing unusually brilliant work…
Now he returns for the ever so interesting The Young Pope. The film revolves around the first ever American Pope who has his own way of ruling the religious sect.
Written and directed by Youth mastermind Paolo Sorrentino, The Young Pope looks to be a terrific and fantastic though those linger too much into similar television tropes of “Ooooo he like women and drugs.”
