A writer of mine recently pointed out that Natalie Portman is something of a non-actress. Despite having a whole plethora of movies under her belt, she is pretty forgetful. I highly disagree because I regularly think about her performance in Black Swan and the accuracy of the breakdown she portrays.
She returns with a great set of upcoming films. The first is A Tale of Love and Darkness and this – Planetarium.
The film stars Portman and Lily-Rose Depp as 1930s sisters traipsing through Paris with their psychic gifts. When they are found by a filmmaker, he is urged to craft a movie around them..
A combination of French and English (leading to a bewildering trailer,) this still looks like an exquisite and unusual dreamlike drama.
PLANETARIUM HITS CINEMAS LATER THIS YEAR!
